HHIP MT3 X 335mm Test/Alignment Mandrel Used for checking the alignment of machine spindle axis. Made of high grade tool steel. Precision ground and heat treated for maximum concentricity. Serves to represent materially an axis of rotation, so that the axis can be checked for alignment. A mandrel mounted between centers provides a straight-line reference joining the two points (centers), so you can check the alignment of the centers. T.I.R. is less than 5 microns per 6″.
